Day 10 Post – Nathan Hession

Today we visited the town of Delft and the Windmills of Kinderdyk. Delft was super very different from where were staying, and had lots of cool sights such as its churches and many cool shops to check out. Afterwards when we visited the windmills, we learned lots of history about said windmills and got to [...]

The town of Delft and the windmills were very cool to look at and explore. I really liked our guide and our bus driver because they were very interactive and seemed to care a lot about Dutch history. I enjoyed the boat tour though it was a little long and cold.

Logan Lippert- Day 10 Rotterdam

Today, we travelled to the small town of Delft and walked around its city center. It was a very charming, small Dutch town with many canals and side streets, but also with a lot of history. We saw their church, town hall, and center square, and shopped at local shops, like a family cheese store [...]

Day 10 – Will Light

During our last day we got on a bus to go take a tour of Delft, a beautiful town with a very rich history. While I was there I picked up some gifts for my family which included Dutch cheese and small pieces of pottery. We ended the day with a nice boat tour and [...]

5/19 Post Tate DeLaRosa

Really appreciated hitting the art museums. In comparison to Spanish works of a similar period and status the paintings are much more domestic and smaller in scale. It was a much more human and intimate time in the Hague gallery. I enjoyed being a charlatan in my Brees jersey with the woman with the pearl [...]

Today's visit to Erasmus University was very informative and interesting. Our speaker, Pieter, was a great speaker and I really enjoyed listening to him and getting to speak with him after. The tour of the SS Rotterdam was pretty long but the food afterward made up for it.

Anna Walker, 5/19/2026

Today was spent at Erasmus University and the SS Rotterdam, where we were given a brief history of free maritime trade and its impact on the Dutch economy. It was interesting to analyze complex global supply chain challenges, specifically looking at modern conflicts like the tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and how we are [...]

Day 9 – Evan Carter

Today I enjoyed getting to meet Erasmus University students and discussing issues facing global supply chains. We also visited The Hague for the Mauritshuis museum. I'm not a big art guy but there was actually some very cool paintings there. Our last activity for the day was a tour and dinner at the SS Rotterdam. [...]

Day 9 – Will Light

Today was another great day which started with a lecture at Erasmus University. The lecturer was kind enough to walk us all the way over to The Hague where we saw an excellent exhibit of new and old paintings. We ended the day with a beautiful tour of the SS Rotterdam, where we ate dinner [...]

Daily Post – Rotterdam – Matthew

Today was our day at Erasmus University and the SS Rotterdam. Learning about the history of free maritime trade was very interesting, especially since much of the Dutch economy is based on the import/export market! It was interesting to think about different ways to deal with international trade issues such as the current issues in [...]
