Dachau was eye opening. I almost threw up viewing the crematoriums at Dachau. I cried. I am not too proud or macho to admit that, but the capacity for man's cruelty is immense. I was a little disappointed with the BMW museum, but the showroom was great. In particular the Rowe car with the BMW factory squad, with all the bugs and marbles and bits missing. I enjoyed the cultural tour of Munich a great deal. I kind of wished that I could have done it on my own though. Our tour guide was good, but it seemed a hair rushed. I am a very slow mover through museums because I like to read, but it was fine otherwise.

BMW might not be my favorite manufacturer, but I appreciated their willingness to show every step of the process. It was far and away the most automated, which makes good sense with their mass production business model.

Top 3 day of my life so far. Porsche and Mercedes were excellent. The Mercedes line is certainly one of the most advanced in the world.
