5/15 Tate DeLaRosa

I was a little disappointed with the BMW museum, but the showroom was great. In particular the Rowe car with the BMW factory squad, with all the bugs and marbles and bits missing. The museum was a relatively small collection and had some big hitters missing in the racing department, namely their current hypercar and the ’99 Le Mans winner. I did enjoy the DTM emphasis however.

Munich Olympic Park was fun as well. The blanketed campus really fit in well with the tornadic architecture of the show room. I did feel that I needed to see the memorial to the Munich Massacre, and I unfortunately got what I expected. The Israeli athletes deserve to be memorized and did not deserve what happened to them. However, the memorial is decidedly Zionist and attempts to lionize the IDF.
