Daily Post – Rotterdam – Matthew

Today was our day at Erasmus University and the SS Rotterdam. Learning about the history of free maritime trade was very interesting, especially since much of the Dutch economy is based on the import/export market! It was interesting to think about different ways to deal with international trade issues such as the current issues in the Strait of Hormuz. These topics affect everybody, directly and indirectly, so coming up with our own diplomatic solutions was very fun.
