Taking river cruise to see the more industrial portions of the port, we were finally able to see supply chain in motion. I found interesting they mentioned that Rotterdam is becoming Europe's largest produce port, and with a new project to have a net zero cold storage warehouse. 5/21/25 – Robert Christman
Today we completed a boat tour of Rotterdam's large port. Similar with the bike tour, we learned a lot about the rich history of the port and the surrounding buildings within the port. We also did a little side quest to the Pilgrim church where the Mayflower trip first got brought up and set sailed. [...]
May 21st – Spencer Didat
Todya we took a boat tour to see every poet in Rotterdam. We learned that the ports re MASSVIE and seeing the industrialisation of all the ports was really cool. We also got to explore the rooftop gardens in Rotterdam and we ended the day by seeing where the Mayflower was orchjestrated and ate at [...]
May 20th – Spencer Didat
Today we were able to tour the small city of Delfdt. I was able to go inside the massive cathedral and i was breathtaking, I could genuinely see most of the Netherlands just through the tower. We also saw the windmills right outside of the city and it was really cool. I loved the city [...]

May 20-Will Nyberg
Today we went to the town of Delft and saw the windmills of Kinderdyk. This experience was very interesting and allowed us to see an ancient town and the changing architecture. The windmills were very scenic and we learned about the various foods and lifestyles from the region.
Day 11 – Tyler Konz
Today we had a boat tour with the Port of Rotterdam. My initial reaction was shock due to the shear size of the port. This experience is necessary to put into context the bike tour we all experienced before.

Day 10 was an exhausting day of walking and climbing. We went to the town of Delft where the old architecture was everything I was looking for in the is trip. I loved the view atop the church but the stairs were absolutely a miserable climb. They don’t make tight spiral staircases 20 stories tall [...]

The town of Delft was okay. It was a beautiful city and it was really nice to see the Dutch culture without so many tourists, but it was much of a quiet do nothing kind of time. Some of us did decide to climb the church tower, and that was really fun, but very torturous [...]
Day 10 – Risner
Today we toured Delft and the windmills nearby. It was interesting learning how water managment affected the history of the netherlands. Learning they used mechanical power and these windmills was also a bit of interesting history on the country.
