Final Reflection - Overall the trip was a huge cultural experience. We applied a lot of our knowledge from our classes in the factory tours and got a taste of the two countries. We learned a lot about how each city was unique and played a role in our society today and back in history. [...]

Today is the last day of the trip. We got up early to see Rotterdam soccer stadium. After seeing both Munich and Rotterdam soccer stadium, the people around here are very passionate about that sport where it's in their blood. For the US its different and not as big as the fan base as the [...]

Today we completed a boat tour of Rotterdam's large port. Similar with the bike tour, we learned a lot about the rich history of the port and the surrounding buildings within the port. We also did a little side quest to the Pilgrim church where the Mayflower trip first got brought up and set sailed. [...]

Today we did a tour of the windmills and historical aspect of the Netherlands with the cultural history that we saw. The tour guide showed us the markets and what the Netherlands are known for in their industry back then and even now compared to the US.

Today we did an excursion to the bike tour around the largest port of the world. We saw all the ships and cargo that gets transported throughout the world like the cars we saw back in Germany with the factories.

Today we did a day trip to Amsterdam. We learned a lot of history throughout the streets. We saw the museums and sites that truly showed the cultures of the Dutch. Very touristy aswell with a ton of shops.

Today was travel day and a food tour. We are entering the second half of the trip, so we took a train to Rotterdam. During the train ride we got to see the European countryside as we went by. Getting into Rotterdam I noticed a lot of similar traits and differences between German vs Netherlands [...]

Today we visited a concentration camp and Audi factory. The concentration camp is a piece of history that reminds us of what humans can do to each other and what to prevent in the future. I had the opportunity to visit BMW Welt in, where I explored cutting-edge automotive innovation and design. I also toured the nearby Olympic Park, learning about its historical significance and enjoying the scenic architecture and open spaces. These visits gave me a deeper appreciation for Germany’s engineering excellence and cultural heritage.

Today we went to the soccer stadium for Munich. It's really interesting to see the differences between our big sports vs Europe's sports.
