Day 7 Abroad: Traylor

Hamburg Day 1
After a long train ride we finally made it to Hamburg. We visited a nice museum that was filled with miniature models of major cities around the world. The exhibit was beautiful it was intriguing and it made me wonder just how much effort and time was put into making it.

Hamburg [5-20-23]
Our day consisted of a 6-7hr train ride from Prague to Hamburg. I thoroughly enjoyed our journey as I got to meet several people from other countries. One lady I talked to was raised in East Germany during the Cold War and was forced to learn Russian in school.

This morning, we toured a Sköda facility just northeast of Prague. Unfortunately, we only got to see the Press shop and the Weld shop. One thing I noticed that concerned me was the lack of PPE being worn inside the plant.
First day in hamburg
My first day in Hamburg was a lot of fun besides the seven hour train ride to get here. I really enjoyed exploring and trying the local street food. I also really enjoyed the miniature wonderland. I can’t believe someone spent all the time and effort to make them.
Day 7 – Hamburg
The 7 hour train ride to Hamburg was exhausting but worth it. Another beautiful to city to experience the people, food, and culture!
