Today we had an optional trip to The Hague, which I chose to miss to catch up on sleep. We had a few hours free in which I went with a group of guys from the trip to do a wine tasting at a local shop followed by lunch at the Markthal, a local market that is inside a domed complex containing apartments. I had a delicious bowl of ramen here. Our day continued with a biking tour of the city where we got to see several areas of the port. The day concluded with going down town to watch the Feynoord vs Roma soccer match. The crowds on the streets for this were unlike anything I’ve ever seen and unfortunately Feynoord lost to Roma.
