Day 9 – Cole Nichols

During our trip today, we got on bikes and rode around the city to see the largest port in Europe. This was by far the best excursion of the trip. It was a great exercise and we got to ride in some really cool areas such as the underwater tunnel.

May 18th – Spencer Didat

Today we did an amazing bike tour around Rotterdam. We learned about the accidentally american bombing of Rotterdam. We also learned that Rotterdam has the 5th largest port in the world and the largest port in Europe.

Visiting the Olympic Park and seeing the whole park was an amazing example of timeless engineering. The sweeping design and innovative use of materials still make it look modern, even 50 plus years after it was built.
