Today we traveled from Munich to Rotterdam, which took about 7 hours total. The trip was great because I got to see almost the entire western side of Germany and its landscapes. For the rest of the day, we went on a walking tour of the city, where we got to try some food, learn about Rotterdam’s history, and see the beautiful city. The city has such unique architecture due to its history with Germany, when they bombed the city during WW2 and had to rebuild everything from the ground up. We also got to go on a water taxi through the canal which was very nice as the sun was setting and the skyline is absolutley amazing. We all split off after the taxi and some of us went to go get some authentic shawarma and kebob in the city center. It was a long day but its great to be experiencing a new country and city.
