Day 7 – Aaron Osterman

Today was mostly spent travelling from Munich to Rotterdam. Once we finally got to Rotterdam, we were given a walking tour of the city. Most of this tour revolved around food as we got to try all sorts of treats that are special to the Netherlands. Some of these foods included a few different types of cheese, stroopwafels, and fries with a special peanut dipping sauce. We were also taught some of the history behind Rotterdam as we explored the town. One interesting thing I learned that was similar to both Stuttgart and Munich was how a lot of Rotterdam was destroyed during World War II and it was eventually rebuilt into a major city again.
