Logan Lippert- Day 7 Rotterdam

Today, we set off for Rotterdam, in the Netherlands, to begin the last phase of our trip. After several delays on the train and a long bus ride across the border from Düsseldorf, DE, we finally got to our hotel in the center of the city. The main activity for the day was a walking food tour of the city, and this was one of the best tours we got this entire trip! Rotterdam has a lot of history, and the architectural style is very unique, which our tour guide was great at pointing out. We got to taste the famous Dutch stroopwaffle, different types of Dutch-made cheese, and some tasty french fries with different sauces. Finally, we parted ways with our guides at the end to take a water taxi down the river, showcasing one of the great public transportation methods the city has.
