Today’s trip to Dachau Concentration Camp felt very surreal. It is one thing to see photos but actually being there in person is completely different. It felt very heavy and made it more real. Listening to Dr. Kroeger speak about how Germany is still dealing with the aftermath was very moving because it feels like WW2 happened a long time ago but it really is not that far in the past.
