Day 5 – Daniel Hodson

Today we did a Munich walking tour. We got to the see the British garden. It was cool to see how locals spend their free time. There were wake surfers in the river. This is a true testament to the cleanliness of the water and their dedication to environmental wellness. This came up a lot when I was speaking with locals. They talked a lot about their recycling and city cleaning projects. It was super interesting to see how easily their government can pass policies. This has come up multiple times in the trip and I think it’s super cool how productive their government is. The chancellor of sttutgart was even in their Green Party. I can’t imagine a world where someone in a 3rd party could win an election in America.
