We started off the day by taking a walking tour through Munich. Seeing the art museums that were built in a Greek style was surprising – I didn’t expect to see Greek architecture in Germany! I will say that they looked much better aesthetically compared to the art museum built by the Nazis, which was cold and drab. Afterwards, I walked through the BMW Welt showroom and BMW Museum. I was surprised to learn that BMW was the first major auto manufacturer to begin researching electric vehicles, and that they had been experimenting with EV technology since the 1970s. Very insightful day overall!
