Today we went to visit one of our partnering Universities, University of Reutlingen, to learn more about industry 4.0 . We visited Reutlingen University’s Werk-150 shop, which is 8,750 sq-ft building solely dedicated to teaching and researching smart manufacturing methods. Here we furthered our knowledge in the needs and considerations in creating assembly lines as well as integrating technologies, such as robotic arms, autonomous work horses, and AI image recognition. I feel after today’s experience I would really like to comeback to study abroad at Reutlingen, unfortunately I will have to wait till I graduates to pursue a duel graduate degree.
