Despite being the most tired I’ve ever been, my first day in Munich, Germany was a fun, refreshing, and insightful experience. From small things like using a public bathroom and throwing trash away at a hotel to larger things like paying at a restaurant and using public transportation. The cultural difference between Munich and the American suburbia I am used to is stark and interesting. I had so much fun looking at all of the historical sites and learning about the history of the city and can’t wait to see what is next for me here.
