Day 3 and last Day in Rotterdam

For our last day in Rotterdam, a tour bus picked us up early in the morning to go discover the city of Delft and its new church where members of William of Orange family are buried. The new church is located in Hugo de Groot square as well as the city Hall of the town. But, we were surprised to see that the inhabitant of Delft were getting the square ready to celebrate one of their cultual holiday called the “Delft Fringe Festival.” The city is for sure quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the city with its remarkable mixture of French-Dutch culture. We then left Delft for Kinderdijk to see the windmills before heading back to Rotherham where we’re looking forward to having a memorable dinner with a Purdue Alumnus who wants to meet us tonight.
