Today started with a visit to a castle. This German castle was large and the gardens were beautiful as you would typically expect. Afterwards we toured BMW. Working for Subaru Automotive gave me a lot of insight to an already fascinating industry. I really enjoyed seeing how the machinery operates and how robots choose big fixtures on a carousel system to be able to change between the different models. There are definitely positives I can take from the way BMW does their processes and look at ways to implement those ideas into our automation systems at Subaru. We then travelled to markenplatz to see the clock at 5. We finished the day off with dinner at Haxnbauer. This place smelled and tasted delicious, we had the 1/2 pork knuckle and the aromas were amazing.
