Emilee Scott – 3/14 Munich
Today we travelled from Reutlingen to Munich by train, then got a thorough tour of the factory! After this we briefly explored the museum then the Olympic village, which was absolutely breathtaking!

We spent most of the day at Reutlingen University studying Industry 4.0. It was really fascinating to see the studies happening worldwide and getting to talk to the students firsthand about their projects!

Today we went to the Porsche Museum and I attended the factory tour. It was really fascinating to see the levels of human-robot interaction happening in the factory in comparison to the almost autonomous sections we saw at Mercedes-Benz.

We travelled to the Mercedes Benz factory this morning. It was very insightful, and I found the facility with 99.3% automation extremely interesting. I’m excited to see the differences between the Mercedes Benz, Porsche, and BMW factories.
