The parts of the day that provided the most surprise and education to me was seeing the different manufacturing strategies different factories have. For example, Mercedes has way more automation than Porsche does, allowing them to make more cars but with lower flexibility.

The things that I witnessed that were most surprising to me were the train integration, the amount of public transport in general, and the friendliness of everyone around. I loved the food and all of the attractions here to see

Hi everyone, my name is Tyler Konz and I am a freshman in Industrial Engineering Technology! I land in Stuttgart at 11:10 on May 11th. I am of course super excited to experience the entire trip, and hopefully experience some hiking and sight seeing while in Germany.
