Rotterdam Day 3, May 19th

Today was a pretty chill day in the Netherlands. We visited Arasmus University, visited Mauritshuis art museum, and had dinner on board the SS Rotterdam. It was a great day, and it was cool to meet some of the Dutch students, many of them travel from across Europe to go to the school. Mauritshuis was so beautiful, I got to see one of my favorite paintings (Girl With Pearl Earring) and see even more Rembrandt than at the Munich art museum. It was an amazing building with great architecture and some amazing pieces from Dutch artists. Finally, the SS Rotterdam was massive and we got to tour a large part of it before having a proper European dinner of raw meat and fish. We also got to sit down with the Dutch students at dinner and talk with them, one of them told us that Americans are generally more funny and enjoy themselves more, so good job to us. It was a great day overall, I have been really enjoying the vibe of Rotterdam, it is very different than any of the other German cities.
