Day 9 – Aaron Osterman

The first thing we did today was visit Erasmus University for a brief lecture. Similar to Munich University, we were introduced to several students who attend Erasmus and got to learn more about who they are and what they study. My favorite part of the visit was getting to see what their campus looks like in comparison to Purdue. The next thing we did was travel to The Hague so we could see the famous Mauritshuis Museum. It was really interesting to learn just how important of a location The Hague is for all of Europe since the U.N.’s International Court of Justice is located there. The final thing we did was both dinner and a tour on the SS Rotterdam. I’ve never been on a cruise ship before so the most interesting thing about this tour for me was seeing just how many rooms and floors there are in total.
