Germany Trip May 18

We started off today with the bike tour,  which I enjoyed a lot more than I thought I would! It’s cool to be in a city that’s so easy to bike around. After that, we took the train to Amsterdam, which I’m a little torn on. It’s less interesting than Rotterdam architecturally, and the smell of weed was much more potent and annoying than in any other places we’ve been so far. I did enjoy the scavenger hunt, though! We got last place since we primarily walked places and had a couple longer walks, but I think it was worth it to see the city. The Alums came a little late, but it was cool to talk with them and see how Purdue has changed since they went. We walked around Amsterdam for a bit afterwards and went to a bar, and then we headed back to Rotterdam for dinner and some more drinks.
