Day 4 – Aaron Osterman

Today we got a tour of Allianz Arena where Bayern Munich plays as well as a tour of the royal palace. Some of the things I got to learn about Allianz Arena are that it holds around 70,000 people and that some NFL games have taken place there in the past. In addition to the field, we got to see the conference room where interviews are held and the actual locker room that the players use. Afterwards was the tour of the Munich Residenz. I learned about the monarchs of Bavaria who both built the palace and were the original owners of it. There were all sorts of interesting old artifacts on display, some of which dated back all the way to the 1300s.
