Stuttgart Day 1

What a wonderful introduction to Germany. From the airport to the train, and the hotel, the people I have encountered so far have been kind and helpful. Traveling via public transit here in Stuttgart is straightforward and efficient. As a group we ventured to and toured the area surrounding Schloss Platz, with a knowledgeable tour guide. He gave us a solid overview of the rich history of the area, the present state of the things, and the changes that are underway to further develop Stuttgart for future generations. Afterwards, we enjoyed a delicious meal consisting of German fare at Carls Brauhaus. To finish the first day off, fireworks under a full moon!
