Germany Study abroad – Day 6 – 3/15/2024 – Ryan Cameron

Today we were able to visit the famous Allianz arena home of FC Bayern Munchen and were able to tour all through the stadium. Visiting the stands, the press room and even the lockers it was an amazing experience and we were then able to see the museum where all the trophies were held. We then got to see the world famous Glockenspiel and take a guided tour with one of Dr. Tanoos’s colleagues Dr. Susane Franke of the palace where we were able to get an in depth history of the rooms and the people who lived in them. One interaction I had was when I was at a small antique store where the owner didn’t speak any English and I didn’t speak any German which made for a slightly challenging interaction. Overall It was another’s great day in Munich seeing various aspects of the city!
