Today we visited Dachau concentration camp and later ate at the hofbraeuhaus. Visiting Dachau was very intense, and I felt that our tour guide approached the tour with a perfect pace and tone for the environment. Recognizing that some of the worst events in human history happened on the ground you are standing on is certainly shocking, and made me hyperaware of my surroundings in a serious and terrifying way. In the midday, I visited Frauenkirche in the Munich city center, which was very beautiful. The hofbrauhaus was very cool, but unfortunately the service was not the best, and we were unable to enjoy the live music because we had a reserved room. Nevertheless, the beer and food were delicious, and i’ll be back someday to enjoy it again!
