Today we toured the Porsche Factory. Touring the Porsche Factory allowed me to see more principles of manufacturing in action and also see the variety of different aspects of the automotive industry. One thing that stood out to me was the production differences between Porsche and Mercedes-Benz. I noticed how the robots were used for less gals in Porsche than Mercedes-Benz, making more opportunities for jobs for people, which takes more training.
