Sunday in Stuttgart, Germany

Today was actually my second day in Germany as I came a day early to combat the effects of jet lag. Today Jim, our faculty advisor, took me out and about Stuttgart before the rest of the group because I arrived early. Here is a picture of one of the government buildings, formerly a lords palace, which you’ll se as you come out of the city centers s-Bahn(subway) station. You’ll notice that the street are practically empty, that is because it’s tradition in Germany for Sundays to be a day of quite and rest. On Sundays most people will stay home or go to park and almost all shops and businesses are closed.
