In the morning, we visited the Royal Palace of Munich. It is absolutely incredible what the Germans have been able to accomplish as far as restoration work. The architecture and furnishing of the Royal Palace are amazing! Later, we went the Dachau concentration camp. It was very sobering to see the horrific conditions that prisoners endured here. Certainly adds a new depth to our understanding of some of the cruelties of the Second World War.
