Today we took a trip to the Austrian city of Innsbruck. The city was filled with rich history and plenty of buildings that were built before America was founded. What I found most interesting was the geopolitical significance of the city in the middle ages. The town is located in a spot where trade routes from Germany and Italy would run through the city, and as such, the city became a melting pot of cultures. I have attached a picture of the nearby alps as I thought it was one of the most beautiful views of the trip so far.
