Today, we toured the Port of Hamburg and all the docks that are connected to it. The Port of Hamburg is the 3rd largest port in Europe with cargo ships getting loaded and unloaded every hour of every day. The Port has a maze of sub docks that all lead to the main port, then a ship proceeds to the open ocean. Cranes are everywhere as well around the docks to allow the cargo to get loaded and unloaded as fast as possible. This helps to increase the number of ships that can go through the harbor in a single day.
