Having stayed in the clean and pristine tourist section of Munich for the entirety of the trip until today, I was starting to wonder if this was how all of Germany was. Stepping out into the graffiti and cigarette-covered landscape outside of these areas on the way to the concentration camp quickly doused those notions. It was almost comforting though to know that no matter where you seem to go there are still ‘good’ and ‘bad’ parts to every city.
