Day 7 – Travel to Rotterdam

Today began with travel to Rotterdam via high speed rail, which was a new and exciting experience. The smoothness and convenience of the ride made me excited for the upcoming high speed rail line being built in California. After arriving in Rotterdam, we disembarked on the food tour, which was my highlight of the day. The stroopwaffel was one of the best sweets I’ve had in my life, and the cumin cheese was curiously tasty. I’m definitely going to have to buy more cheese here to take home. The water taxi capped off the day nicely with a fun but bumpy ride.
