Day 1 – Arrival in Germany

After a long day traveling from West Lafayette to Chicago to Frankfort to Stuttgart, I have finally made it to Germany. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the day, and have been very pleasantly surprised with the mobility provided by public transit. Perhaps the most difficult part of today has been communication. Many people seem to expect me to speak German, which I did not expect as I don’t think I look particularly German (or European at all!). However, I hope to pick up on some of the German pleasantries and greetings so that I can smoothen out my interactions with the German people. Excited to see Porsche and Mercedes-Benz tomorrow!
