Day 1 – Aaron Osterman

Getting to walk around Stuttgart today and see all the different kinds of architecture was really interesting. I was surprised to learn that the name Stuttgart actually translates to mare garden and that it was originally a site for horse breeding back when the city was first founded. It was also interesting to hear about how a majority of Stuttgart was destroyed during World War II.
