Today we arrived in Rotterdam by train. After walking around on a food tour tasting Stroopwaffles and cheese, we saw an artificial wave machine for surfing. Due to the decline of use of canals, Rotterdam has tried to reclaim them for other purposes such as recreation or creating more land. Transitioning between different periods was interesting to see how the city develops.
