One interesting thing of what I saw on the first official trip day was how Germany combined old and new. Old buildings were very modern and up to date on the interior, while some new buildings were designed to emulate the older architecture. Seeing the combination of new and old at the same time was quite interesting. Germany seems to be able to strike a balance between the two.
