As we embarked on the tour of the Porsche factory we saw a captivating exploration of the intricacies of their supply chain. Once you stepped onto the factory floor, you are immediately immersed in a symphony of logistics and precision. From the arrival of raw materials to the assembly lines and deliveries of robots to the final test drives, the tour unveils the meticulous orchestration of suppliers, inventory management, and production processes. With each meticulously assembled component, from engines to body panels, we witnessed the culmination of a supply chain masterpiece, where innovation and collaboration converge to deliver automotive excellence. We also saw the impact of current situations around the world had in the delivery of cars, shifting the times from 6 months to a range of two years for delivery.
