Monday was in Stuttgart was an amazing experience. Early in the morning we took a bus to the largest Mercedes plant, where we got to the manufacturing process of the s class models as well as the c class models. The manufacturing process for the chassis where they assemble the body in white (chassis)is 99.3% automated by robotic and robotic arms. Unfortunately we couldn’t take any photos of the manufacturing process so this is a picture I took of Mercedes-Benz first car the Motorwagen. The Motorwagen was design by Carl Benz and was one of the first internal combustion engine cars, it was made in 1886 and marks the beginning of the world longest standing car brand.
