Today was our first day on our trip throughout Central Europe, highlighted with a tour around old-town Munich with stops at the Munich Cathedral and New Town Hall to watch the glockenspiel. This was particularly interesting because this is my first time visiting Germany and the guided tour allowed me to ask questions directly from a life-long resident of Munich. Dinner was at Hofbrauhaus and included authentic German food and drink, as well as an opportunity to meet a few new people from the group that I had not yet introduced myself to.
