We started our third day of our trip with a bus ride to the Mercedes Benz factory in Sindelfingen. It was such an interesting experience to see the varying types of manufacturing between Porsche and Mercedes. It is easy to say that I have a new appreciation for the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into making these cars. After the tour concluded, we took a train ride to the beautiful Reutlingen. It was absolutely incredible to see the historic architecture and style of the town. We also got to hear a presentation about the graduate school program between the university here in Reutlingen and Purdue University. Even though I will not be able to take part in the program, it does sound like a very interesting opportunity that I would definitely recommend someone to look into!
