Wow! It’s amazing how Porsche is made! They are all made by hand and the whole thing is customizable!
The level of craftsmanship is remarkable, from watching them working with the leather to hand assembling all the pieces, seeing how it’s done making you appreciate it so much more.
It was interesting to learn how they are able to produce about 300 cars every 8 hour shift and how it take about 2.5 days from start to finish to build a car, how incredible!
The way that every car is uniquely their own and custom combinations and is able to be assembled on an assembly line is amazing. The order of how every item and part is staged and timed so the same overall step gets done but with its unique part is incredible from a logistics
The way that every car is uniquely their own and custom combinations and is able to be assembled on an assembly line is amazing. The order of how every item and part is staged and timed so the same overall step gets done but with its unique part is incredible especially from a production planning, logistics and supply chain standpoint. Also learning how it takes up to 3 years to be trained was interesting.
After went to a market to explore and get some fresh fruits, meats and cheeses and wines.
The viticulture in Stuttgart is also so interesting. On almost every hill side there are vineyards, some very small to medium sized. There is over 400 hectors of grapes, some of the most amount incorporated within a city!
Overall an incredible day in Stuttgart, looking forward to learning how Mercedes operates differently and continue to learn and explore the culture!
