The day started with a perfect flight cancellation for my connecting flight from Frankfurt to Stuttgart. The airline staff provided me with a train voucher to go take the train which suprised me that I don’t know airline companies work with train companies so well in Germany. And then what’s more suprising is that the time of taking the train and then taking U-bahn to hotel combined is even shorter than taking my original flight, which got me to destination even earlier than expected. Public transportation is such a big thing here and I just spent a day to get used to. Now that I think back, I had not taken a public transportation in the past 4 years. Anyways, this is just day 1 and after sleeping off the jet lag tonight, I still have plenty of time to get a better understanding of taking public transportation in Germany. Looking forward to it.
