Having a whole third of a city dedicated to a single automotive factory, the industry seems to be a lot more important to the economy and culture around here than I had originally thought. Hearing how the average salary there of about $1000 a month was above average also helped set into perspective how affluent even a minimum-wage American job would compare here.
