Logan Lippert- Day 10 Rotterdam

Today, we travelled to the small town of Delft and walked around its city center. It was a very charming, small Dutch town with many canals and side streets, but also with a lot of history. We saw their church, town hall, and center square, and shopped at local shops, like a family cheese store that had been producing cheese for decades! I loved walking around the town and seeing a smaller, more relaxed city. Next, we drove to Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage site with ancient windmills. It was great to walk along the trail and see the incredible works of art that have been standing for hundreds of years. Lastly, we took a boat tour through the port of Rotterdam, seeing heart of the European supply chain in action, and I enjoyed relaxing with my friends and seeing the wide expanse of the port. Marking the last day of the trip, I’ve had a fantastic time and have not only learned so much about supply chains and European culture, but also have made great friends and memories for life.
