Logan Lippert- Day 6 Munich

Today, we started by going to the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site, which was a very eye opening and saddening experience. Standing in the exact spots where horrific tragedies happened in history that we learned about in school was shocking, and gave me a better perspective on what happened. The biggest thing I took away from that experience was something that our guide said, which is that we are here to learn from our history, not ignore it. After that, we finished our day by going to lunch with a few Purdue allumni that joined us earlier. It was cool to hear how they started their journies at Purdue and ended up working for firms all over Europe, and they gave great advice on putting yourself out there, making connections, and taking advantage of the opportunities that are offered through studying abroad.
