Started the day with a filling German breakfast of sausage, eggs, pancakes, and of course muesli! Our first stop of the day was Mercedes-Benz. They had an emphasis on creating the one perfect car by means of automation. Their factory was a huge plot of land, far from civilization. The next stop of the day was Porsche, which had the opposite philosophy. Placed right in the middle of town on a busy street, the Porsche factory had an emphasis on hand-built quality with seemingly endless options and variability. The Porsche museum was special too; I got to see the cars I’ve drooled over since I was a little boy.
