Today the group took a boat tour of the city. Before coming to Hamburg I wan unaware of its canals and ports so it was a welcomed suprise. From the canals it was possible to see all the modern buildings that decorate the landscape. Along with the building where a network of cargo crane systems on the opposite side of the canal. The tour took a break part way through and went into the museum of maritime which is all about the history of boats. It was super fantastic with 9 floors of beautiful art and historical weapons, armor, uniforms and replica ships. There where some amazing WW2 sections that were fascinating.
